Planiform is proud to announce another successful installation for one of our prestigious customers. We recently completed the installation and commissioning of an automated conveyor and hopper system for Partagec, the laundry for the CHU de Québec Hospital in Canada.

This installation is divided into 3 parts through the laundry. The first part includes a hopper that discharges green surgical laundry continuously onto an automated conveyor to allow employees to sort it. A second part including 6 hoppers with conveyors to allow employees to sort regular laundry. Finally, a third part to transport the folded and bagged laundry automatically to a manual sorting station.

With the help of Planiform’s experienced team of engineers and installers, we designed and installed all the computers, control panels and sensors that allow this system to operate automatically.

We are pleased to have once again been able to meet our customer’s needs and help them distribute clean and hygienic linens for their patients.
