The client’s challenges were to transport and accumulate piles of folded clean laundry, polybags of laundry, and to create a sortation loop for the green surgical laundry. Planiform was able to propose and install automated systems for all aspects of this project. We provided material handling conveyors that fully satisfy and respect the healthcare regulations.

This installation is divided into 3 parts throughout the laundry facility. The first part includes a hopper that discharges green surgical laundry continuously onto an automated conveyor to allow employees to sort it. A second part including 6 hoppers with conveyors to allow employees to sort regular laundry. Finally, a third part to transport the folded and bagged laundry automatically to a manual sorting station.
